It’s Game Time in Chicago
Where Fall Plans Go Beyond the Game
Fall in Chicago has a way of bringing people together.
College football takes over Saturdays, Bears Sundays are back, the White Sox are playing into October and hockey season is underway. It is the time of year when there is always something to watch, somewhere to be and a reason to get the group together.
And while sports give us plenty of excuses, fall calendars are also filling up with birthdays, reunions, alumni events, company outings and get togethers before the holiday season begins.
Make More of Game Day
A big game is an easy reason to get everyone in the same place, but where you watch it can make all the difference.
Hosting at home means cleaning before and after. A busy sports bar can mean crowded tables, competing TVs and half the group sitting somewhere else.
A private watch party gives you the best parts of game day without the hassle. Bring in the food everyone wants, set up the bar, put the game on the big screen and give your group room to settle in and enjoy it together.
Give Everyone Something to Do
The best gatherings are the ones where people can do their own thing without splitting up the group.
Some guests will watch every play. Others will catch up over a drink, grab some food or start a competition of their own.
Basketball, pickleball, golf, ping pong and shuffleboard keep things going through halftime, between innings or long after the final whistle.
The game might bring everyone together, but it does not have to be the whole event.
Fall Is More Than Football
Game days are only part of what makes fall such a good time to plan something.
Bring the coworkers together outside the office. Get the college friends back together for an alumni weekend. Celebrate a birthday. Host a fundraiser. Finally make the plans that have been sitting in the group chat.
And when Chicago weather decides to change overnight, an indoor event means the plans stay the same.
